About RIM Camping

Turnkey workforce camp solutions since 2023 — keeping America’s workers safe, comfortable, and productive on remote job sites nationwide.

Our Story

RIM Camping was founded in September 2023 to address a persistent gap in the construction and industrial services market: the lack of reliable, high-quality temporary housing for workers deployed to job sites far from home.

Too many contractors were forced to choose between substandard accommodations that hurt morale and retention, or expensive hotel arrangements that strained project budgets and complicated logistics.

Our founders brought together years of direct experience in construction operations, supply chain logistics, and facility management. Headquartered at 1653 S Blue Island Ave, Suite 127, in Chicago, Illinois, we launched with a clear focus: provide turnkey workforce camps that general contractors, developers, and infrastructure companies can rely on from day one.

Our Mission

Our mission is straightforward: provide safe, comfortable temporary housing so that workers can focus entirely on the job at hand. Well-rested, well-fed crews in clean, functional living quarters are more productive, more reliable, and more likely to stay on a project through completion.

Workforce housing is not a luxury — it is an operational necessity that directly impacts project timelines, safety records, and bottom-line results.

Every decision we make — from the equipment we source to the service schedules we maintain — is guided by this principle. When a contractor partners with RIM Camping, they gain a camp operations partner committed to keeping their workforce housed, fed, and ready to work every day of the project.

Our Team

RIM Camping’s team combines direct experience across construction, industrial logistics, and camp facility management. Our operations staff understands jobsite realities — tight schedules, changing crew counts, weather disruptions, and the constant pressure to keep work moving forward.

Our logistics coordinators manage equipment transportation, site delivery scheduling, and supply chain operations across multiple active projects simultaneously. Our field technicians handle on-site setup, utility connections, equipment maintenance, and ongoing facility management.

We hire people who have worked on job sites, managed field operations, and understand what it takes to keep a camp running smoothly in real-world conditions.

Nationwide Service from Chicago

RIM Camping is based in Chicago, Illinois — a central logistics hub with direct access to major interstate highways, rail networks, and equipment supply chains. This strategic location allows us to mobilize equipment and personnel to project sites across the continental United States efficiently.

We have deployed camps to sites in the Midwest, Southeast, Southwest, Mountain West, and along both coasts. Whether your project is on a highway corridor in Texas, a pipeline right-of-way in Pennsylvania, or a commercial development in Colorado, we deliver on schedule.

For projects in remote or access-restricted locations, we coordinate with local contractors and transportation providers to ensure equipment reaches the site safely. Distance is a logistics challenge we plan for, not a barrier to service.

Our Values

The principles that guide every camp we build and every client we serve.

Safety First

Worker safety is non-negotiable. Our camps are designed, deployed, and maintained to meet or exceed applicable safety standards — from fire suppression to structural integrity.

Worker Comfort

Climate-controlled housing, clean restrooms, functional kitchens, and reliable utilities. Every crew member deserves a dignified space to rest after a demanding shift.

Operational Efficiency

Camp layouts and service schedules designed to minimize disruption — fewer logistics headaches, less downtime, a smoother-running job site.

Environmental Responsibility

Minimal site impact, responsible waste and water management. When the project ends, we remove all equipment and leave the site clean.
